Hi, I'm Dee!
I’m your virtual assistant (chickadee) for Work Source Maine.
You can ask me about accessing trainings and career paths in the state of Maine. Ask your question or describe what you’re looking for below, and I’ll search for FAQs that look like they’d be a match for your question.
Or, try asking one of our frequently asked questions for job seekers:
Can this site help me if I have specific challenges or unique needs?
Yes! Whether you’re new to Maine, a veteran, have a disability, speak a language other than English, are experiencing housing instability, or have limited transportation, help is available. Visit our Virtual CareerCenter to get connected with support tailored to your situation.
I'm confused about the assessments. What’s the difference between the long and short versions?
There are three assessments on the site. The Interest Profiler and Skills Matcher take 5–10 minutes and ask detailed questions about your interests and skills. The Personality Snapshot is a shorter quiz (under 5 minutes) that focuses on your top traits. All three give career recommendations, but the longer ones tend to give more accurate results since they gather more detail.
I have ideas for content that would be helpful - how can I share them?
We'd love to hear from you! Visit our Contact Us page to share your ideas or suggestions.
