Someone with "Lived Experience" who provides one-on-one support to people in the community, and at their homes. May also provide group facilitation and support people in connecting to wellness and recovery.

  • Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Completion of the State of Maine Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) Certification.  
  • Additional Skills/Requirements:  Is receiving or has received services and/or supports related to either significant mental health challenge(s) or a history of substance use and is willing to self-identify on this basis with peers and in the community.
